Tickets


Opening hours booking office:
Our booking office is open from Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 16:30 hours, on Saturdays from 16:00 hours if there is a performance and always one hour in advance of any performance. You can reach us by phone or e-mail: 020-4107 777 / kaartverkoop@meervaart.nl

 

Your ticket(s) include
The price of admission includes wardrobe and intermission drink (unless specified otherwise). If the performance doesn’t have an intermission, your drink is served afterwards. There's a € 1,50 handling fee.

 

Payment methods
We offer multiple ways of payment. Online you can use iDEAL, Visa/Mastercard, Paypal and the Podiumcadeaukaart (giftcard). At our booking office you can pay by PIN, cash, Visa/Mastercard, Podiumcadeaukaart, Cultuurkaart and vouchers for theater and concerts.

For every payment by creditcard € 2,00 extra is charged. And for every Paypal payment we charge € 1,00. All other methods of payment don't come with any additional costs.

Delivery costs
When you want your ticket(s) to be sent by the postal service, please mind there's an extra charge of € 2,75. E-tickets are sent to you for free, of course.

 

Can’t make it (on time)?
In case you can’t make it to the performance, you can give your tickets for someone else to use,
because tickets aren’t restricted to a specific person or name. In case you’re too late and the show has already started, you will be refused admittance as not to disturb the performing artists and the audience.

You can trade or return your ticket(s) no later than two days in advance at a cost of € 1,50 per ticket (free of charge for those who own a Meer Theater Kaart). The remaining sum will be reimbursed as customer credit.

Up until four weeks in advance you can also reimburse your tickets at a cost of € 4,00 per ticket (€ 2,00 for those who own a Meer Theater Kaart). 

Handling fee is never reimbursed, unless it concerns a cancellation by De Meervaart itself.

 

Waiting list for sold-out performances
Sometimes seats are returned for shows that were sold-out earlier. You can register to a waiting list online of the show in question. We will send you an e-mail or call you by phone if seats become available, so you can decide whether to make your purchase.

 

Drinks at intermission
In the intermission you can pick one of the beverages that are displayed the foyer. In case there isn’t an intermission, your drink is served afterwards. Your ticket includes wardrobe, an intermission drink and handling costs (unless stated otherwise), except for youth plays of € 7,00.

 

Disabled
De Meervaart is accessible to wheelchairs and its occupants. There is a limited number of wheelchair spots available though. Contact our booking office (kaartverkoop@meervaart.nl) to make your reservation.
