It takes several seconds before the Java applet is started. To use the online ticket sales programme, the computer has to have Java applet. If it is not in your computer, it can easily be downloaded free of charge, by surfing to www.java.com
java cannot be loaded
If you want to order please be aware that it takes a little time before the java script is loaded. Even if the hourglass cant be seen on your screen, its still necessary to wait a moment. If nothing happens after this, then it is probable that Java cannot be loaded or is not installed.
how am I able to load Java?
To order online Java must be installed. With Explorer this is automatically done. If your computer does not have Java, then you can obtain it free of charge by downloading at http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_ automatic.jsp
can I make a reservation for more than one performance at the same time?
It is possible to make several reservations per performance.
what is a client number?
Everybody that reserves or buys tickets (also at the cash desk) at the Meervaart is given a client number. This number is also used for mailing. Its easier for you as a customer as it is not necessary to fill in the same information when ordering tickets on subsequent occasions. Please be careful when filling in your surname (capital letters, etc, with or without VAN, VD). The client number makes it easy for the ticket sales employees to be able to trace an order at any given time.
what is the difference between rang 1 and rang 2?
Rang 1 and Rang 2 only apply to the Rode Zaal. Rang 1 are the seats in the auditorium and on the balcony. Rang 2 are the seats on each side of the balcony, these are less expensive because of where they are situated.
I am a registered client but the computer does not verify this
The Meervaart works with the programme Showsoft. The database of Showsoft is very strict. If, for instance, capital letters are used to fill in your name instead of small ones, then your name is not recognised by the computer.
I would like to change my client information, how do I do this?
Unfortunately this cannot changed by the client alone. Access to the database is not admitted for security reasons. If you want to change or correct your client information, send an email to kaartverkoop@meervaart.nl ,your information will then be adapted.
What are the coloured spots behind each row?
A green spot means there are plenty of seats available.
A yellow spot suggests seats are limited.
A red spot means that there are no more seats available on this row.
what is a reservation number?
This is a unique number given to each reservation. Take note of this number as it is always easy to use at the cash desk may you have any queries concerning your order.
what is CVC on my credit card?
Since June 1st 2001 it has become obligatory to obtain a CVC ( Card Validation Code) when a client makes a payment with a credit card on the internet. This is an extra security measure. The CVC is a number unique to each credit card and is visible on the back of your credit card. On the signature strip the complete number is visible, the last three numbers are the CVC numbers.
I’m unable to print my tickets. What do I do?
If you have printing problems ( printer broken, no ink or paper, lost email) then it is advised to inform the Meervaart cash desk. Please take into account when the performance starts and come on time. The cash desk opens an hour before the start of a show and can look up your reservation. Dont forget to bring along your passport or another means of identification!

Can I pay with Theatre Vouchers?
You have to go to the Tickert desk (from one hour for the show) to use Theatre Vouchers. Online it's impossible.
