Workshop room Amsterdam
There can be many reasons for finding a workshop location outside the door. There is not enough space at the office, you want to get out of the daily environment or you want to completely hand over the organisation. Whatever the reason is, at De Meervaart you will find a professional workshop room for small and large groups. Our workshop rooms are located on the first floor and can be equipped to meet you specific wishes.
Our meeting rooms are 25 m² to 120 m² and offer 12 to 120 seats. There are various set-ups possible for our workshop rooms with a seating configuration of your choice: plenary, meeting set-up or theatre seating. All of our meeting rooms are adjacent to each other, which provides possibilities for a combined booking. Also, the meeting rooms are ideal to use as breakout rooms during a conference.

Our facilities during your workshop
If you book a workshop room at De Meervaart, we make sure that you have access to certain necessities. Every room is provided with a beamer, projection screen or LCD-display, sound system and flip-over. And, last but not least, all of our rooms have daylight.
During a creative, intensive or inspiring workshop, food is fuel for your brains. That’s why we can arrange a delicious catering before, during and after the workshop. We serve varied sandwiches, fresh salads and fruit and coffee, tea and orange juice by standard, but we can always adjust this to your needs and wishes. We can also provide in healthy snacks, smoothies and other delicacies. Would you like to finish the training with dinner/lunch? We can, for example, serve fingerfood or a walking dinner. Some examples of partners we work with are Gulpener, Tony Chocolonely and Grapedistrict. Feel free to ask about our options!
If there are many participants attending your workshop, an arrangement can be lucrative. Our packages include services like room rental, sound system, technical assistance, support from the duty-manager and unlimited coffee, tea and soda with sweets. We offer a 4-hour package and an 8-hour package. You can find more information about these meeting packages and facilities in our information folder.
Accessibility and overnight stays
De Meervaart is the best accessible theatre in Amsterdam. Guests can reach the workshop rooms easily by car, public transport and even by boat. Parking is easy in the adjacent, low-cost parking garage. The parking garage provides a parking space for 450 vehicles and costs €8,- a day. In contrast to the parking rates in the city centre, the parking rates of our parking garage have not increased and are still low-cost. Do your guests prefer traveling by public transport? There are various NS stations and bus and tram stops nearby.
We welcome people from all over the world as our guests. That’s why hotels in the direct vicinity are of great importance. De Meervaart would be happy to assist you in booking a room for your guests at one of the nearby hotels.
