Meervaart Studio is concerned with talent development for children and youths. Starting at the age of four, children can participated in creative courses on theater, dance, street dance, classical ballet and musical theater. From the age of fourteen youths are welcome to Studio West, which is a creative development workplace for upcoming talent. At Kunstbende Amsterdam artists in the making compete for a place in the national Kunstbende Finale. For those looking to broaden their knowledge and skill of local arts and culture Meervaart Studio organizes accessible workshops at three locations in Amsterdam-West under the name Express Your Best. Schools also are welcome to contact Meervaart Studio for their students to visit performances and workshops. All these activities combined Meervaart Studio reaches some 5.000 children and youths from Amsterdam on a yearly basis and helps them to explore and expand their creative talents.
